On Saturday May 23, a local family’s dream will come true thanks to KBTX Media and the local BCS community. The Ledezma family will help raise the first wall of their new Habitat home and watch many giving volunteers help complete the framing project in one day. Mersedes Ledezma and her two children, will purchase the three bedroom home located at 1452 Patsy’s Glen in BCS Habitat’s 100-lot subdivision, Angels Gate.
On Thursday, May 14, KBTX Media in a community partnership with David Gardner’s Jewelers and WTAW, invited the community to make a family’s dream of homeownership come true. Individuals, civic groups, and businesses united by dropping off donations at an all day drive to help fund the building of a Habitat home. One hundred percent of donations received during this event will be used to cover the construction costs associated with building the home.

About Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity
Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization.
