Take a tour with other interested community members and Habitat staff to see the solid, durable homes BCS Habitat for Humanity builds to replace some of the substandard housing that unfortunately still very much exists throughout Bryan/College Station.
Habitour begins with a free lunch at the Habitat office and a chance to talk with a Habitat family and Habitat staff about the Habitat mission. Then, everyone climbs aboard a van and tours some of the Habitat subdivisions and a few other areas in Bryan with Habitat homes. In sharp contrast to some of the substandard housing you’ll see as we drive through Bryan, you’ll see firsthand what a difference a Habitat home can make.
“Habitours give visitors a look at the important work Habitat is doing in our community and the impact it is making in our neighborhoods,” says Abby Johnson, BCS Habitat for Humanity Director of Communications.
